Where are you on the empathic coronavirus roller coaster ride this week?
As I ride the emotional waves, I’m also experiencing a kind of COVID Clarity as this situation shines a light on what matters most.
I’m hearing the whisper of my Soul. I feel a pulse inside of my core. And it’s getting stronger, and clearer each day.
I keep hearing this Hopi quote in my inner ear ….
“You have been telling the people that this is the Eleventh Hour, now you must go back and tell the people that this is the Hour. It is time to speak your Truth. And do not look outside yourself for the leader.
There is a river flowing now very fast. It is so great and swift that there are those who will be afraid. They will try to hold on to the shore. They will feel they are torn apart and will suffer greatly. Know the river has its destination. We must let go of the shore, push off into the middle of the river, keep our eyes open, and our heads above water. Gather yourselves! We are the ones we’ve been waiting for.”
– Attributed to an unnamed Hopi elder, Hopi Nation/Oraibi, Arizona, 2000
I LOVE that. It feels raw, true, and eerily appropriate in our coronavirus SIP world. It’s intense. Even as we’re reeling, feeling torn apart, and clinging to the shore, we’re supposed to gather ourselves and lead?
… But what if we are?
What if now really is the time to stand in our open-hearted power, speak our truth, and lead? What if we are the ones we have been waiting for?
That’s what the whispers of my Soul have been telling me.
My first response to that inner voice is often “Oh FUCK!”
I’m not usually ready (yet) for what its telling me to do.
Right now, I somehow feel both the “oh fuck” and I feel clearer than I have in a long time.
At this moment in time, I have an urge to step into my most intuitive, courageous self and call others forth so that, together, we can create transformational change in the world.
We need more Leaders who are present and connected with themselves and with those around them. Your Voice Matters.
What is your Soul whispering your your ear?
Where is the pulse in your core guiding you?
What’s making you say “Oh FUCK” because you don’t feel ready for the challenge?
Drop me an email or reply in the comments. I’d love to hear about your Soul’s whispers and your “oh fuck” moments.
With passion & love,
PS: If your “oh fuck” is telling you to be seen and heard on a larger scale and you’re ready to step forward and unleash the drumbeat of your Soul, let’s talk.
I’m offering my Compelling Speaker: Master the Art of Presence program in June with special COVID and “pay what you can” pricing available. Cuz … we are the ones we have been waiting for … 😉
