Beyond Authenticity

by Lauri

For years, authenticity has been the gold standard in public speaking. And for good reason.

Being real, raw, and unpolished can create powerful moments of connection on stages, in boardrooms, on social media.

But what if authenticity is just the beginning?

After nearly two decades working with speakers and change-makers I’ve come to a surprising truth:

Authenticity is the doorway to soulful speaking. It’s not the final destination.

The Difference Is in the Instrument

Authenticity means being true to yourself and letting others see you. Really see you. Soulful speaking means letting your instrument—your body, breath, voice, energy—carry your truth in a way that resonates far beyond the words.

It’s like the difference between Madonna and Lady Gaga.

Imagine Madonna in the 1980s, performing a hit song. Now imagine Lady Gaga doing the same.

While they’ve got similar styles, Lady Gaga’s voice often sends chills down your spine. Her resonance is different.

The same is true for speakers.

From Connection to Transformation

Authentic speaking connects. Soulful speaking transforms.

It’s not just about being seen—it’s about being felt. It’s the difference between leaving an impression and leaving people changed.

When a speaker drops into presence—when they speak from their body, not just their head—they create a moment of shared transformation. The room shifts.

This Is How We Change the World

One resonant voice. One breath. One room at a time.

If you’re someone who wants to make a real impact—not just connect, but catalyze change—don’t stop at authenticity.

Go deeper. Go soulful.

With love & resonance, Lauri
