The Radiant Zone: Where Speakers Come Alive

by Lauri

Most speakers are chasing the wrong goal.

They think the best measure of success is feeling comfortable. Clear. Capable. Composed.

But “comfortable” rarely moves an audience.

The truth is: comfort and radiance cannot coexist.

When you aim for comfort, you flatten your aliveness. You play it safe. You walk off stage and people say, “That was nice.” And then they forget you.

But when you step into the Radiant Zone, everything changes.

Because speaking shouldn’t feel like you’re sitting on your couch watching Netflix.

In the Radiant Zone, speaking is more like a rollercoaster—thrilling, full of sensation, alive.

It’s that place where fear and excitement merge, where your focus shifts away from yourself and onto your audience. And in that space, they laugh, cry, leap to their feet—not because you were perfect, but because they felt you.

In my latest episode of Soulful Speaking, I share:

  • The three zones speakers land in (fear, comfort, radiance)
  • Why clarity alone isn’t enough to be unforgettable
  • How Laurence Olivier and the Golden State Warriors taught me about channeling sensation
  • A practice you can use to step into radiance before your next talk

If your dream is to do more than just get through it—if you want to ignite change, stir souls, and light up rooms—this episode is for you.

Let’s stop chasing comfort and start choosing radiance.
